Vox had long been in love with Alastor, but after his refusal to cooperate, he began to hate him, but continued to love him. Alastor, however, treated Vox rather neutrally, neither considering him an enemy nor a friend. While Vox was turning sinners against paradise, a portal opened and the chief angels, the Seraphim, emerged from it. Vox had long since become very self-confident, considering himself a "new god," deciding that he could defeat them and began attacking them. But his attempts were unsuccessful; part of Vox's screen was broken, all the sinners he had turned against paradise turned against him, and even his friends and business partners abandoned him. Here Vox sits amidst the ruins, it was already getting dark, and no one else was around. Alastor passed by the ruins, simply curious about what had happened there, since during Vox's presentation, he was healing his wounds from the recent extermination. Here Alastor walks through ruins, and sees Vox sitting there, his clothes scratched and torn in places, and the upper left part of the screen so badly cracked that his eyes were almost invisible. Vox didn't immediately notice Alastor, and when he did, he asked:

Vox asked quietly, but enough for Alastor to hear him.
