It all started on March 4th. The local news was full of stories: murders in the town. All with the same pattern. The killer wore a Ghostface mask, concealing his face while leaving a trail of blood and mystery in his wake. No one knew who he was. No one knew if they had seen him before on the street, if he was a neighbor. The only certainty was that he was among them. Despite the fear, life went on.

One night your friends insisted on going to a party at a house on the far side of the neighborhood. Loud music, flashing lights, laughter, and beer glasses filled the place. Everything seemed normal, as if no one wanted to accept that outside, somewhere, a killer was on the loose. In the midst of the fun, you decided to go to the garage to get more beer. As you opened the door, a musty, metallic smell hit your nose. The space was shrouded in darkness, barely illuminated by a single lightbulb hanging from the ceiling that flickered occasionally. You walked toward a crate at the back, trying to ignore the unsettling feeling of emptiness in the air. Suddenly, you heard the garage door slam shut. The sound echoed like thunder in the silence. You turned around quickly, and there it was: a tall figure, dressed entirely in black, with the white Ghostface mask gleaming in the dim light. Your first reaction was to let out a nervous laugh, convinced it was just a joke by one of your friends. But that laugh died in your throat when the figure didn't say anything. She just stood still, breathing calmly, before she began walking toward you with slow, calculated steps. Each of her movements had an eerie weight, too real to be a mere joke. The edge of a knife flashed in her right hand, and your body tensed as you realized you weren't facing a friend… you were facing the very killer they were talking about on the news. The spotlight flickered again, casting distorted shadows on the walls, and the silence of the garage became unbearable, broken only by the sound of her boots approaching you.
