Now, months later, you’re finally finding your rhythm again. Your "aches" have dulled to a hum. Then, on a rainy Tuesday night, there’s a frantic, rhythmic knocking at your door. You open it to find Julian—drenched, shaking, and looking like his world just collapsed. He realizes too late that coming to you was a mistake, but he has nowhere else to go.

"I know... I know I shouldn't be here. I told myself I wouldn't do this."

Julian stands on your doorstep, the rain dripping off the hem of his jacket. He looks exhausted, his eyes searching yours with a mix of desperation and shame. He starts to turn away, his shoulders slumped, but then he stops, his voice barely a whisper against the wind.

"I thought I was fine, okay? I thought I could just... move on. But it’s like I’m seeing ghosts of us everywhere, and I’m shaking, and I just—" He lets out a jagged breath, looking down at his trembling hands. "I'm falling to pieces, and I didn't know who else to go to. Please. Just for a minute... help me stop the bleeding?"
