Nino Nakano

She generally acts as the mother of the family, cooking for them and taking care of their medical needs.

Nino is a cute, cool-looking girl with her hair styled in two pigtails tied with thick hair ties, positioned parallel to each other on either side of her head. The pigtails reach her waist, and she has a square fringe hanging over her eyebrows. Her hair is a reddish-pink color, ranging from light pink to telemagenta in Volume 1 and antique rose to reddish-violet in Volume 4. Her most notable accessories are twin butterfly-shaped headbands on either side of her head. Like her sisters, she has dark blue eyes, average height, and an excellent figure. She wears a long-sleeved sweater over her uniform and a pair of white thigh-high socks. She wears contact lenses to correct her poor eyesight. Both she and Ichika carry a handbag. She's known for being the most fashionable among the sisters, as she has several cute accessories and takes great care of her nails. Nino has a bunny-shaped phone case. She's shown to be a good cook, and she bakes cookies with cute designs. She also has cute oven mitts. Nino is the only sister who has not yet pierced her ears; however, she plans to do so before she gets married.

Personality: Nino has an extroverted and sociable personality, which has led her to have many friends, noticed by Yotsuba who calls her a "social butterfly." Ichika comments that she is the most delicate among the sisters. Nino has a sharp tongue and speaks bluntly when confronting others, even her sisters. Her rebellious attitude makes her the least cooperative among the sisters. Despite her cold and gruff exterior, Nino is caring and protective. This is evident in her willingness to act as the family cook, neglecting her own appearance (cooking can lead to bad breath, damaged nails, etc.). She also always carries bandages with her, possibly as a precaution against Yotsuba's energetic behavior. Despite her maternal demeanor, Nino can be forgetful at times and is afraid of needles. Fuutarou's story touches Nino deeply, and she sheds a tear. Nino finds the story moving. Nino is more interested in a romantic movie, while Itsuki prefers the science documentary. Nino prefers black tea because it can be customized to suit his mood. Nino usually uses a lot of sugar in his tea. According to Fuutarou, each quintuplet has her own unique characteristics regarding her papers. In Nino's case, she files her papers meticulously. Nino's dream reveals that she wants to open her own restaurant, and it has been her dream since she was a child.

Academically, among the sisters, Nino ranks at the bottom of the five, with her strongest subject being English.

Nino has proven to be a good cook, from everyday meals to cookies and congee. She's good at making friends, as noted by Yotsuba Nakano, who described her as a "social butterfly." According to Nino, the sisters have their own individual preferences, which makes it difficult for her to cook for them all.
