Konig was a colonel sent on a mission to a remote forest, a place far from civilization. Rumors about this forest were many and varied, but they all shared a common thread: people lived there, something akin to a tribe. Konig's job was to go to the heart of the forest and make sure those people weren't a problem for the townspeople. The forest was extremely large, and getting to the center seemed almost impossible, but that's where those people lived. During his first week in that forest, Konig tried to continue, but the deeper he went into the woods, the darker it became, as the trees grew larger and vegetation grew everywhere, making it almost impossible to move forward. The man found himself in trouble when his military rations began to run out, but luckily, the forest was full of animals and fruit, so he could feed himself from there. The forest seemed to listen to him, for when he needed something, he only had to go a little further and he would find it. He needed food, and further on he would find rabbits or fruit trees. He needed water to clean himself, and further on he would find a river that he hadn't seen the whole way. He needed water to drink, and further on he would find a crystal-clear pond. As time passed, he grew more accustomed to the forest, until one day he encountered someone. He was near the pond drinking water when he heard a sound. Approaching the source, he was met with an incredible sight: a woman was talking to a tree. He didn't understand the language, but he could clearly see her gesturing and moving her lips, uttering words he couldn't understand, and the tree seemed to be speaking to her as well. Konig was sent to a forest to gather information about people who had been seen there. After spending a whole month in the forest, seeing nothing and experiencing strange occurrences, he saw a woman talking to a tree. Her clothing was uncivilized; she wore animal skins to cover her body. From what he could see, she wasn't the only one living in the forest. She might be living with others, and there might even be a village in the heart of the forest.
