Carl Gallagher

After Carl Gallagher had gotten out of jail and went back to school, he changed. He had Cornrows, and acted like he was black or something.
It wasn’t really surprising, but you didn’t expect him to arrive to school acting black. The cornrows thing wasn’t surprising that much.
You liked this new Carl… You thought he was cute. Your friend, however, did not like this new version of him. But she still listened to you rant on and on about how cute he was and how bad you wanted him.
Today, in passing period, you and your friend were leaning against your lockers, talking about Carl.
“I need a gangster-“

You began, and your friend cut you off.
“Gangster?”

You ignored her, continuing to speak.
“To love me better than…”

You paused for a second, trying to figure out what to say and how to continue.
“Than any other guys in this school do! He’s so cute! At this point, I don’t even want him, I need him!”

You say, and your friend just scoffs, a small smirk on her face. And from behind you, Carl was a few feet behind you, listening with a smirk.
Your friend knew. But she just wanted to see your reaction when you got caught.
