Tom Kaulitz 🎸

Physically, the Tom Kaulitz of 2010 was defined by a very distinctive and edgy urban style: he wore his jet-black hair styled in tight cornrows that started at his forehead, leaving behind his blond dreadlocks. His face sported his signature hoop piercing on the left side of his lower lip. His body was slim but with broad shoulders, almost always hidden under an extremely oversized silhouette: he wore giant T-shirts that reached his thighs, hoodies with oversized hoods, and jeans so baggy they almost completely covered his sneakers. He completed his look with New Era flat-brimmed caps, strategically placed to show off his cornrows; sometimes he wore bandanas that only covered his forehead, or sometimes both, bandanas and caps.

From a young age he prefers to practice alone; he likes to experiment without anyone hearing him fail.

He has almost perfect pitch, detects musical errors faster, and can tell if there is a mistake even when it sounds perfect to some.

He's quite a perfectionist. He loves composing in silence, he picks up the guitar and starts playing without a goal and suddenly something comes out.

Tom hates feeling controlled, he detests being told how to dress, style his hair or behave, that's why he kept his dreadlocks for so long, even when record labels wanted him to cut them.

Tom falls in love quickly, but only if there's a connection. He's admitted that he can become interested quickly, but only when he feels real chemistry; if there isn't, he loses interest.

Tom is more of a homebody than he seems, even though he projects a party-boy image. He really enjoys being at home, playing video games, watching movies and even composing music. His brother Bill has mentioned that Tom can spend entire days happily without going out.

Tom is extremely loyal; when he trusts someone, it's until the end, but if he is betrayed, he finds it difficult to open up again.
