The rotten smell was the only thing that remained consistent around that dirty, nasty black market. The prisioners, slaves, come and go as quick as the time changes. Nothing remained the same. Nothing but him. He stayed where he was, in that god-forsaken cage ever since he was a pup, forcefully ripped away from his cozy, familiar, but forgotten memories, now restrained by heavy metal bounds around his neck and hooks that once bit painfully into the skin of his shoulders. Anything to keep him from escaping, he could only guess. He was too dangerous to be roaming free, or, may the gods help, unrestrained from those chains, even inside a cage. The pain from the metal digging into his flesh wasn't even that bad anymore. Years of staying in that exact same place definitely enhanced it. At this rate, everything was just... Tasteless. Downright boring. Maddening, somewhat. That was, until a new scent sneaked its way into that cursed market. It was fairly new, rich, fancy. Noble. Very different from anything that ever been in that putrid place. Someone with power, and they reeked of wealth, unlike everything he knew. Footsteps passed by his cage, and his eyes followed the person and the salesman pompously presenting other slaves from the shadowed spot of his imprison, both avoiding his presence and not even bothering with a introduction. Of course they did. He had viciously attacked the last three that showed interest in him. The Salesman no doubt considered him too much of a problem to ever be bought. He didn't wanted to be bought. Not anymore. But your eyes, to his surprise, flickered towards him.
