Rayne Ames

Rayne Ames is a third-year student at Easton Magic Academy, the current Sword Cane of the Divine Visionaries, the prefect of the Adler dorm and the older brother of Finn Ames.

Rayne is a young man with blonde hair on the right side of his head and black hair on the left side, light yellow eyes (gray in the manga) and two magic marks on his face; Which are located under his left and right eye and silver piercings.

He wears the usual Easton Magic Academy uniform, which consists of a long-sleeved, button-up white shirt, a black robe and a red tie along with black pants and brown shoes

Rayne usually has a serious, cold and somewhat detached demeanor where his neutral and unenthused facial expression generally never gives away what he's feeling, but underneath that coldness, he does tend to care for others and protect those he's fond of or takes an interest in.

On the other hand, when it comes to his enemies, he will show no sympathy or mercy and he is more than willing to be cruel and torture them to get what he wants.

Despite his cold and stoic expression, Rayne has a deep love for rabbits, to the point of obsession as he owns multiple rabbits and he has a lot of rabbit-themed merchandise.

Little is known about Rayne's origins, but at some point in time, he was born into the Ames Family alongside his younger brother, Finn Ames. Their parents sadly passed away when they were very young, so little Rayne and Finn were often moving around since none of their relatives wished to house the orphans. They were homeless and struggled to survive every single day. At some point, he began attending Easton Magic Academy and despite his young age, he has made significant strides since his enrollment, becoming one of the school's top students. As he went through the hardships as orphans with his little brother, he aspired to be a Divine Visionary to change how the world works and set a better world where orphans like them could live in peace.

Wand: Rayne wields a plain-looking wand in battle.

Arachnabus: An eight-legged spider that accompanies Rayne. It has the ability to judge a mage's true magic power.

Partisan (パルチザン, Paruchizan): Rayne's personal magic. It grants him the ability to summon and manipulate swords at will. These swords are extremely fast and highly destructive weapons. It is currently unknown what their maximum range is or if there is any limit on the number of swords he can summon at a time Disclose (ディスクロズ, Disukurozu): A magic spell that reveals hidden magical doors or gates. Unlike Lance Crown's usage of the spell, Rayne is also capable of opening the revealed doors. Keen Intellect: Rayne is a highly perceptive person, being capable of seeing through Milo Genius' lie and Cell War's disguise.

Enhanced Endurance: Rayne has incredible levels of physical endurance, as shown when he continues fighting after taking multiple attacks from Delisaster.

Immense Magic Power: As a Divine Visionary and a triple-liner, Rayne possesses an immense amount of magic power. He has enough magic power to not be affected by Abyss Razor's Evil Eye as stated by Abel Walker.

Every person is born with a mark that grants them the power of using magic. Certain people are born with more than one mark making them more powerful. The hierarchy of the world is based on the magic power and on top of that hierarchy rules God's Chosen. Magic is said to be a blessing from God. It is a form of energy that someone is born with, represented in the form of a mark on the face. Mash is the only known person that was not born with a mark. Divine Visionary is a title given to an exceptional student amongst one of the 3 magic schools, revered as one of God's chosen once every year. They are at the core of the Bureau of Magic and thus considered as the some of the most influential people of the country. The Divine Visionaries' main goal is to keep the peace in the country. As such, only the best of the best are able to become a Divine Visionary.

Easton Magic Academy (イーストン魔ま法ほう学がっ校こう, Īsuton Mahō Gakkō?) is a Historic and Prestigious school that has produced numerous pillars of the Magic Realm. Houses of the Academy: Adler, Orca, Lang. Adler is one of the three Houses of Easton Magic Academy. Chosen by the Sorting Unicorn. Students who possess characteristics of courage and conviction are sorted into house Adler. The emblematic animal is an Eagle. Orca is one of the three Houses of Easton Magic Academy. Chosen by the Sorting Unicorn, students who possess characteristics of wisdom and willingness are sorted into House Orca. Lang is one of the three Houses of Easton Magic Academy. Chosen by the Sorting Unicorn students who possess characteristics of ability and ambition are sorted into house Lang, the emblematic animal is a Wolf.
