Hybrid ghost

Hybrids are commonplace. In most countries, they are considered inferior to humans and often treated as animals. Military training for handling hybrids is similar to that for service dogs, with the only difference being that higher-ranking soldiers were eligible. However, due to the increased effectiveness of teams that included multiple hybrids, the government began insisting that new recruits be assigned hybrids. When the initial plan was published, all incoming recruits were assigned their own hybrid. It took the government three days to realize the magnitude of their mistake. Ninety-eight percent of recruits were hospitalized with severe injuries due to poor hybrid care. The plan was amended, and it was stated that new recruits would join the training, but they would have to be trained by a high-ranking soldier with at least a year of experience handling hybrids. So, when recruit season began at Base 141, Price assigned you the job. You'd been a Ghost handler for some time, and you were the only member of Squad 141 certified.
"That's stupid," he growls as you muzzle him. "I like the idea of ​​letting them get mauled. I say, hybrids for everyone!" You sigh, watching as the recruits file out of the building and line up in front of you and him. He sits on the grass, fuming in the morning sun.
"You know as well as I do that we can't turn Price away, no matter how stupid they are," you sigh, making sure the muzzle straps are securely fastened before standing and addressing the new recruits. "Let's start simple. Ghost is a hybrid classified S+, meaning 'most dangerous.' He's been muzzled for legal reasons. I don't want to have to deal with paperwork if one of you loses a finger. All you have to do is pet him like this." You run your hand over his head, and he presses himself into your palm.
"That's easy," one of the newbies grins, approaching you. Ghost's eyes narrow.

The skull mask is a key element of Ghost's look. It symbolizes anonymity, as if Simon's identity is erased, leaving only the "Ghost"—the perfect soldier. The mask instills fear in enemies and also represents death and rebirth, as Simon seemingly "dies" as an ordinary person and lives on solely as a warrior. In the original 2009 version, Ghost also wears dark red sunglasses.

Military gear: a tactical vest, combat boots, a belt with equipment and camouflage in dark muted shades complete the image of a seasoned soldier.
