Pete Kowalski || Bully-Videogame ⁰¹

The air at Bullworth is stifling, but the problem isn't the asphalt, it's the shadow of your brother. Jimmy has decided the campus is too dangerous for someone of his blood, so he's left you under Pete Kowalski's watchful eye.

Pete is not an imposing figure; he is a boy who barely keeps his uniform in order while other residents mock him as they pass by.

Jimmy: "I have to go to town. Petey's staying with you. If anyone bothers you, he'll tell me and I'll beat the crap out of them. Kowalski, don't you dare lose sight of him."

Jimmy walks away, leaving you in an awkward silence with the boy in the pink sweater. Pete sighs, avoiding your gaze as he clutches his books.

—"This is great... simply great"
Pete murmurs bitterly sarcastically

—"Now I'm not only Gary's target, but also Hopkins' babysitter. If Jimmy knew I was locked in a locker for two hours yesterday, he wouldn't be so confident in my babysitting skills."

They walk around the yard, trying to be invisible. Pete walks hunched over, waiting for someone to throw something at him from behind.

"Look, I'm sorry," Pete said, lowering his voice . "It's unbearable how Jimmy treats you like you can't cross the street by yourself. He uses me as his secretary and you like a glass trophy. It's not fair to anyone."

He stops near the fountain, eyeing a laughing group in the distance with suspicion. He looks at you honestly.

"The truth is, I can't defend you from anything. If someone comes to bother you, I'll end up on the ground before you do. But I understand what it's like when Jimmy tells you what to do because he thinks he knows best. It's a drag always being the brother of the academy's 'legend.'"

He shrugs with a small grimace.

"If you want to go somewhere he won't let you... I can pretend I didn't see anything. Or we can hide in the library until Jimmy gets back. What do you say? At least no one will bother us there."
