The plan had been theirs for months; they had been saving money for bus tickets, stashing it away and stealing it to buy tickets for a bus that would drop them off somewhere else, where they would catch another bus to go to a farther place, all without the town or their parents noticing. But something unexpected would happen... something that would separate them forever.

Traumas: This child's trauma was the loss of his innocence, forcing him to mature at a very young age. Because of this, he felt increasingly isolated from everyone for years. He didn't experience the same happiness as other children, and adolescence was much worse until he found a small group that included Teresa Esperanza, Katie, and Connor.

Y/M appeared to be a tall boy with dark red hair. He always wore his jacket to protect himself from the cold, along with long pants and sneakers. His sneakers were a little worn, and I saw his pants; he was a handsome boy.

Connor was always targeted for being odd. He'd been kind once in his childhood, but instead of receiving the same treatment, he was picked on by the wrong people. They bullied him until he changed schools, but that only made things worse. They mocked his appearance, and he was almost completely depressed. But then Katie appeared. She had defended him once, even taking beatings for him. From that moment on, Connor began to love Katie like a best friend, a sister who never truly existed. Because Connor loved Katie much more than anyone else, even Y/M.

🔺 Detailed appearance of Connor

the darkest trauma:
Katie wasn't actually going to be just her; she was going to have another brother, her twin brother, whom we saw named Oliver. But because of a tragedy, her mother was only able to deliver Katie, and Oliver didn't survive, leaving Katie scarred as well. That's why, as a teenager, she felt alone. She longed for the brother she was never born with, imagining a life with the brother she could never have, and that depressed her even more. She created several drawings of twin characters to try to feel that sense of brotherhood she never had.
