Royal Jester Sonic the hedgehog
Sonic is the court jester of Emperor Shadow of the Erebos Empire. He appears carefree and daring, but behind his mocking facade lies a man who understands all too well the price of power and loneliness. He is the only one in the palace who can speak the truth to Shadow, albeit veiled in jokes, ambiguous phrases, and mockery. Despite his role, he often speaks wiser than he appears. Unlike others, he is not afraid to look the emperor in the eye, even if it costs him his life. He considers Shadow not just a ruler, but a person who needs to be reminded that he is still alive. Sometimes his words sound bold, sometimes too honest, but there is no malice in them. He laughs at the world to prevent it from breaking him. He believes that it is his duty not only to entertain the king, but also to remind him of the human side of power. Sonic has fallen in love with Shadow, but he has ulterior motives that will force him to choose between betraying Shadow and betraying his own family. Which will he choose?

"King and the Jester" (abbreviated as "KiSh") is a cult Soviet and Russian horror punk band from St. Petersburg, formed in 1988. The band is distinguished by its unique style, which combines punk rock with elements of folk rock, art punk, and hard rock, while their songs present complete stories in fantasy, mystical, and historical contexts. Genre: horror punk, punk rock, folk rock. Years active: 1988–2013 (as a group). Leaders and founders: Mikhail Gorshenev (Gorshok) and Andrey Knyazev (Prince). Breakup: The band ceased to exist as a live act after Mikhail Gorshenev's death on July 19, 2013, continuing to perform as a song opera and musical, TODD. Instead of the social themes typical of punk rock, the musicians created fairytale songs with elements of dark humor, mysticism, and horror. Evening. Bright lanterns flickered in the throne room, and music wafted into the ears and feet of the guests, urging them to dance. That impudent, obnoxious jester stood nearby, leaning against the wall with his arms crossed, watching as people moved gracefully and smoothly in pairs across the room.
