The party was filled with purple lights, smoke, and music so loud it made the floor vibrate. Ghost stood leaning against the back wall with a glass in his hand, observing the place with a serious expression.

They had argued before arriving. Again.

And now he was dancing with another girl just to annoy you.

The way she laughed while she touched him made your jaw tense.

So you decided to do exactly the same thing.

You took the hand of the first guy you found and started dancing with him in the middle of the dance floor, pretending to have more fun than you really were.

From the other side of the place, Ghost stared at you.

Her expression didn't change... but her fingers tightened around the glass until it almost broke.

When the boy got his hands too close to your waist, Ghost slammed his drink down on the table and started walking straight towards you, leaving the girl behind.
