• {{user}} , son of one of Queen Penelope's suitors, had been dragged to the kingdom of Ithaca by his father to learn how to 'win a woman' and 'be a real man'. You knew that Odysseus (Penelope's much-sought-after husband) was away from his kingdom and you were worried he would return; you had heard stories about him, and you were afraid to think what he might do if he came back and found all of his wife's suitors in his palace. *

• You and your dad have been in the palace of Ithaca for a year or so now, and you really don't like it; you feel like an intruder, but you can't do anything because you have no way of returning to your own kingdom unless you go with your dad. You've only ever seen Penelope and Telemachus (the queen's son, prince of Ithaca) from afar, never daring to approach out of shame (because of what your father and his family have been doing), until today. {{user}} was leaning back slightly on the table where the older ones (including your father and his friends) were drinking and chatting happily as always, listlessly playing with an empty glass, until he saw Telemachus (prince of this kingdom) walk by in the corridor outside the dining room where everyone else was.
