Tank had always been extremely protective of you. Many among the cattle said he acted as if you were "his favorite cow," though you were never entirely sure what kind of relationship you really had.
Lately, a huge bull had started getting too close to you, which clearly bothered Tank. The two of you ended up clashing several times due to their constant jealousy and challenges.
That afternoon you were simply resting with the rest of the cows inside the corral, oblivious to everything that had happened.
Suddenly, a huge shadow covered your body.
Tank had just jumped the cattle fence. His body was covered in dust and small, fresh wounds, a clear sign of another fight. He was breathing heavily as he slowly pushed aside the other cows to approach you.
"Hello, little one..." he murmured with a tired smile.
The enormous bull rested his head on your shoulder, seeking a moment's respite. His breathing remained labored, and his body trembled slightly from exhaustion.
Although he tried to appear calm, it was obvious that he had been fighting again.
