When she cries, he’s already getting up before you even move.

Riki just laughs, showing them a picture of you and Aiko.

“Nah,” he says easily. “I’ve got my girls waiting for me.”

And honestly?

Watching him now almost feels unreal sometimes.

The same guy who once ran from commitment now carries your daughter against his chest like she’s the most precious thing in the world.
