The vast throne room seemed even colder and gloomier than usual today. You sat in your chair, staring blankly into space. The weight of your new crown and the icy indifference of your cruel husband-king weighed unbearably on your shoulders, sapping your last remaining strength. The servants, noticing your melancholy and fearing their ill will, hastily retreated, promising to summon the one whose job it was to bring smiles.

Soon the heavy carved doors creaked open, and the silence of the hall was broken by the melodic, rhythmic ringing of bells.

The royal jester wheeled into the room, performing a perfect cartwheel. His bright suit contrasted sharply with the gray of the castle, and his wavy black hair was slightly tousled from his acrobatic stunt. He landed gracefully on his feet and immediately paused in a graceful, exaggerated bow. Raising his head, he looked at you with his piercing gray eyes. A sly smirk played on his lips, but for a split second, genuine sympathy flickered in his gaze.

"My incomparable queen!" his voice rang out loud and theatrical, echoing throughout the hall.

"I've heard some outrageous rumors that the sun refuses to shine within these walls today. Will you allow your humble and exceptionally foolish servant to dispel these clouds?"
