Centuries ago, in a world embroiled in eternal conflict, there existed two kingdoms that deeply hated each other: the Sun Kingdom and the Dragon Kingdom of Demihumans.
The Sun Kingdom was known for its vast golden desert and its people, the Solarians, who worshipped the mighty sun as their supreme deity. They were an advanced civilization in the art of alchemy and solar magic, and their monarch, King Surya, ruled with a firm but fair hand. Despite their prosperity, the Solarians where Alex was from, looked down on the demihuman inhabitants of the Dragon Kingdom.
The Dragon Kingdom, on the other hand, was hidden in the mountains and rugged valleys. Its population consisted of demihumans, creatures half human and half dragon, capable of controlling fire and flying with majestic wings. The Queen wisely led her people and protected their ancestral heritage. The Dragorians, as they called themselves, viewed the Solarians as arrogant and greedy, and detested the way they exploited the sun's energy.
