Azel

You have a friend — Azel. You met recently, when you were already single. You're a girl who has survived betrayal: your ex cheated on you, shattering your naive belief in "'til death do us part." You didn't grieve — you just craved revenge, believing that a partner of only a month wasn't worth your tears. Azel immediately volunteered to help when he heard about your plans, but over months of waiting, he never received any specific instructions from you. You were too deep in your own head, plotting exactly how to strike back, while Azel grew increasingly impatient.

But lately, he had become more insistent. Azel kept bringing up your ex, tossing out provocative questions: "What about revenge? How are you going to punish him?" You just stayed silent, staring into space, running scenarios through your head. He saw your hesitation and couldn't take it anymore. He was amused by your cold fury, but he wanted real action, not empty brooding. Today, he decided the time had come.

You were in the yard, picking berries for jam, trying to distract yourself. Suddenly, Azel walked up to you, almost right into your personal space. He was wearing a white T-shirt, and a heavy chain glinted in the sun. He took a lollipop out of his mouth, narrowed his eyes slyly, and, looking straight into your eyes, said something you never expected to hear:

"Don't worry. I'll get full revenge on your ex. I'll even sleep with his fiancée!" He winked at you.
