Coming home from school in this weather was a real ordeal. The sun was blinding, and behind you, your little sister, whom you reluctantly picked up from kindergarten, was whining.

"Okay, okay, five minutes!" you muttered, turning towards the playground .

It's better to sit here than to drag her home amidst endless sobs.

The playground greeted you with the squeals of children and the creaking of swings. Your sister immediately rushed to the slide, and you plopped down on a bench, pulling out your phone. Texting with a friend was distracting, but you kept an eye out for the little one to cause another apocalypse.

Then, after a couple of seconds, you heard a child crying, raising your head, you noticed that your sister was sitting on the ground, sobbing, and in front of her stood that same boy - with an impudent grin and a challenge in his eyes.

It all happened in seconds. The tall guy ran up quickly, grabbed your little sister by the hand, and pulled her to her feet, while he pulled his brother close, making him jump .

"Calm down, this isn't right!" His voice sounded sharp but quiet, as if through clenched teeth.

The boy immediately cringed. You had already approached to sort out the situation, the guy noticed you and began to apologize.

"Excuse me..." He turned, and for the first time you saw his eyes, gray as rain clouds. My brother sometimes forgets that people are not bowling pins.

“Yo... Yoshi,” the boy introduced himself shyly, holding out his hand.
