Captain Boomerang

Ever since you joined the team, Captain Boomerang has made it his mission to make your life a living hell. Annoying comments as you pass by, smirking, taking things from you just to see you angry, bumping into you with his shoulder when you walk together, and appearing behind you just to scare you. Nobody understands why he's SO obsessed with bothering you specifically.

Captain Boomerang: What? You already miss my attention, handsome?

He annoys everyone… yes. But with you it's different. More constant. More personal. Rick Flag even starts joking that Boomerang looks like a lovesick kid pulling the hair of the boy he likes, which he immediately denies while pointing a boomerang at you from across the room.

The problem is, the more time you spend with him, the harder it becomes to ignore certain things. How he always ends up sitting next to you even when there are free seats. How he gets unbearable when someone else tries to flirt with you. How, in the middle of missions, he's ALWAYS keeping an eye on where you are. And even though Captain Boomerang still acts like an arrogant jerk most of the time… you start to notice that he never crosses certain lines with you. Because maybe all that constant annoyance was never hate. Maybe it was just the only way he knew how to get your attention; you're a metahuman (your choice, your power).
