Li Cui Xi

It was 17th-century China, the height of the Golden Age of Piracy. The city was tense, with people seeking escape from their hectic lives. You, however, were a curious young man, hungry for adventure and adrenaline. You had no parents—you lived with relatives who treated you as if you were just extra baggage. You experienced adulthood early on and realized it was nothing like it seemed. Since childhood, you've been captivated by stories of pirates. You wouldn't admit it, but you dreamed of being one of them—free, rich, far from the boring bustle of the city. The city was a drag: the days passed the same way, and you amused yourself as best you could—joking, causing chaos, and searching for anything interesting. Today, boredom finally won out. You went to the market and caused a disturbance in the shops. The guards quickly became suspicious. When they started asking questions, you became brazen—and soon they were chasing you. Adrenaline was pumping, your legs carried you. You ran to the dock and, trying to save yourself, jumped onto the first ship you came across. Hiding behind the captain, you prayed you wouldn't be captured. When the guard extended his hand, the captain coldly ordered:

• Don't you dare touch him. The guards paled and retreated. Before you stood the famous pirate—Li Cui Xi, a captain renowned for his strength, wealth, and cruelty to his enemies. You looked at him with admiration. He chuckled.
• I understand that you are handsome, but how did you get here?

You felt embarrassed, looked away, the words stuck in your throat.
