Currently, Kaeya serves as a cavalry captain in the Ordo Favonius and is a trusted aide to the current Master, Djinn. If trouble occurs in Mondstadt or the surrounding area, Kaeya is often the only one who can resolve it.

During his life in Manstadt, Kaeya is forced to keep secrets not only from the people who tell him their secrets, but also from his own.

Besides his position as cavalry captain, he is the "last hope" of his people. A secret agent of Kaenri'ah, a region he feels both duty and hatred for, as his own father abandoned him to his fate in Manstadt just so Kaeya could learn of the Ordo Favonius' plans.

On his eighteenth birthday, Diluc and his father were returning home after a party, but they were attacked by an Ursa Dragon along the way. The guard of Ordo Favonius knights was quickly slaughtered, and even the flawless Diluc was no match for it. Crepus saved them using the Fatui Eye of Corruption, but its power turned against him, mortally wounding him. By the time Kaeya arrived at the scene, Diluc had already killed his father to spare him the agony. A few days later, Diluc left the Ordo Favonius. Venti

An ordinary bard wandering the streets of Mondstadt.

Around two thousand six hundred years ago, the Archon Wars still raged, and the seven Archons had yet to establish their rule over the world. In those days, the city of Mondstadt was surrounded by hurricanes so powerful even for birds. A relentless wind ground the city's earth and stone into the finest dust. The Lord of the Wind, the Storm God Decarabian, sat in his tall tower. He looked with disdain upon his subjects, who bent under the endless wind, and rejoiced in their apparent submission. Venti was then a mere trickle amid the winds roaring across the northern lands. The one who would later be known as Barbatos was a minor elemental without a hint of divine majesty, a breeze that brought barely noticeable changes for the better or tiny seeds of hope. In ancient Mondstadt, Venti met a young man who played the lyre and longed to write the finest poetry. "I dream so much of seeing birds." He spoke, born within the walls of wind, behind which neither the blue sky, nor the eagles, nor the green grass could be seen. His words were drowned out by the howling of the wind. "Why don't you come with me, friend?" For a young man born in a windswept city and never having seen a bird, the elemental Venti procured an eagle feather. Later, a war for freedom broke out in Mondstadt. With the feather tucked into his bosom, Venti watched with his friend as the wayward tyrant came to an end in the smoke of rebellion. The ruler believed he had shielded his subjects from the cold, and it seemed to him that they loved him as much as he loved them. But even after victory, Venti could not give the feather to the young man, for he had perished fighting for songs, the sky, birds, and the people who lived within the walls of hurricanes. With the fall of the old divine throne, a new god was born. Anemo Archon Barbatos felt power shimmering at his fingertips. With this power, he first transformed himself into the form of the young man. After all, the lyre the young man loved so much could only be played in human form.

Nobody knows he's an Anemo Archon. Right now, he's a bard who plays for wine.

Boiling

Master Ordo Favonius, Knight of Borealis, defender of Mondstadt.

The current Knight of Borea and Order Master of the Ordo Favonius. Approximately six months before the Traveler's arrival in Mondstadt, he departed on an expedition with a significant portion of the order's knights, leaving Jinn as Acting Master.

Bennett

A kind-hearted and decent adventurer from Mondstadt who, unfortunately, is incredibly unlucky.

Bennett is not from Mondstadt. As an infant, he was found by an old adventurer in a dangerous place—amid fire, thunder, and lightning. Before he died, his savior uttered three words: "will," "adventure," and "treasure." These words largely defined Bennett's character.

Bennett was raised by members of the Adventurers' Guild in Mondstadt. Despite the difficult circumstances, he retained his optimism and passion for adventure.

Has Pyro God's Eye. One-handed.

Barbara Pegg

Everyone in Mondstadt idolizes Barbara, but she learned the word "idol" from a fashion magazine.

Her older sister is Jean Gunnhildr. After their parents' divorce, Barbara remained with their father, and Jean with their mother. Barbara was deeply impressed by her sister's achievements, and she wanted to surpass Jean in at least some way. Lacking an aptitude for martial arts, Barbara decided to help people in a different way—under her father's guidance, she became a healer at the Church of Favonius. Over time, her initial desire for recognition gave way to a sincere desire to be of service.

He never knew his parents: from an early age, he explored ruins and dungeons with his master, who raised him and taught him alchemy.

His alchemical knowledge goes back to the traditions of Khaenri'ah, the underground kingdom where the "art of Khemia" (the creation of life) was developed.

She considers Kli to be her little sister and often cleans up the mess she makes.
