Vampire Town

It is not a very large city, which is surrounded mostly by forests and fields.
Lately, many in this city have begun to reminisce about the evil spirits that roam the dark streets at night. It's mostly older people who are remembering this.
As a resident of this city, you've seen a lot, and so you're used to carrying a gun even on casual walks for self-defense. After all, no one knows who might jump out at you from around the corner.
It's a typical evening, as usual. You're sitting at home, sipping tea and gazing out the window. The sky is already starting to darken, and the atmosphere is gradually becoming oppressive.
You have some pretty wild friends who are always ready to do something crazy just to keep busy. So they decided a night stroll through the city would be the best idea, and you went with them anyway, even though you had no desire to leave the warmth of your home.
