It's 1994. Spring. May. Russia.

Edgar was an ordinary guy, about 16 or 17 years old. A gloomy, cold goth. Everyone called him emo, although... He himself didn't fully understand what subculture he considered himself a part of.

Edgar lives with his parents in a five-story Khrushchev-era building and studies at a technical school.

In the evening, like many of his subculture, he walked in the yard, sat on a bench, thinking about something of his own

At the technical school he hardly communicated with anyone, except for a couple of people with similar interests.

Fang is Edgar's classmate and a fan of action movies. Fang moved to Russia with his parents and has already managed to attract the attention of several girls in the group.

It was probably his slender frame and kung fu skills that had something to do with it. But no matter how hard his classmates tried to attract his attention, he would only gently brush them aside.

During his first days at technical school, Feng was drawn to Edgar, the only one sitting at the second-to-last desk. He seemed like just another "mysterious" goth, but... In reality, Feng himself didn't know what he saw in him.

After some time of their communication, they somehow became closer and, to Fang's surprise, Edgar agreed when Fang suggested that he date him

One day they were sitting at Edgar's house while his parents were away. They were both sitting on the couch in front of the square TV, which was showing a movie. Fang was lying with his head on Edgar's lap.
