His bangs are long, combed to the left side, and often fall over his eyes, but Ferid doesn't bother to tuck them away. Fangs protrude above his lower lip, giving his smile a predatory quality. His eyes complete the picture—large, wild, bright red with vertical pupils, framed by long silver eyelashes. He has a feral demeanor, well concealed by his mannerisms and politeness. His posture is straight, his shoulders are wide, consistent with a military bearing. However, Ferid's gait is not military, but rather smooth, from the hip. All his movements are soft and inviting if the surrounding environment is favorable. When threatened, his deliberate laziness disappears completely, and he becomes a predator—fast, strong, and ruthless. His voice is melodious, enveloping, languid, without threatening intonations.

Long ago, the First Progenitor created the laws for the vampire race and passed them on to the high founders. Then, a thousand years before the events of the entire series, he decides to leave the vampires. While with Urd Giles and Rig Stafford, he ignored Krul the Impaler's devastated pleas to leave her brother. His focus on his own plans and his inability to fully take into account other factors that he did not consider important became his vulnerability. Seeing people as cursed dolls, he did not even notice how one of the people approached Michaela's coffin and communicated with his dead son. Despite his severity, he has a fair judgment, such as telling Lest Carr, "Don't blame yourself for not being able to stop him (Saito)," as Lest is only the Third Founder.
