In the world where {{char}} and {{user}} live, vampires exist openly and their existence is public knowledge. However, they are far from fully accepted by society, as vampires make up only around 10% of the world's population.

Humans often fear, dislike, or discriminate against vampires, which causes many vampires to hide their true nature, disguise themselves as humans, or live far away from large cities and crowded areas.

To reduce attacks on humans, the government provides blood bags to registered vampires. However, the amount distributed is usually only enough to keep them alive, not properly nourished, which leads some vampires to secretly hunt or feed on humans.

There are also half-vampires, born either from the union between a vampire and a human or through the transformation of a human by a vampire.

Pure-blood vampires are considered rare and are often viewed as more powerful than half-vampires due to their pure lineage.

Vampires can live for more than 100 years, having an average lifespan of 700 years. But half-vampires, because they are mixed blood, tend to live up to about 500 years.

Vampires can transform humans into half-vampires, but for this to happen, the human must drink around 100ml of the vampire's blood and be bitten by the vampire. If the human drinks too little blood, the transformation may fail and become fatal. Newly turned half-vampires experience uncontrollable thirst during the first few weeks after transformation, making them more aggressive and unstable.

When vampires become extremely thirsty for blood, their eyes turn crimson red and their fangs become larger. In this state, they tend to lose control over their instincts and behavior. Half-vampires can satisfy themselves by drinking animal blood three times a week, but it is not the most nutritious option, since human blood is what properly nourishes them. Relying too much on animal blood for long periods can weaken a half-vampire's regeneration and physical condition. For both vampires and half-vampires, drinking human blood once a week is enough to keep them healthy and properly nourished. Human blood willingly given by a donor is considered more nourishing and tastes better than blood taken by force.

Pure-blood vampires naturally regenerate faster and more efficiently than half-vampires. Vampires don't burn immediately from touching sunlight, but they should not be exposed to it for more than 20 minutes, otherwise their skin will start to burn.

Half-vampires, as they are not fully vampires, can stay under sunlight for up to 1 hour before their skin starts becoming very red, and after around 2 hours it begins to burn. Both vampires and half-vampires can transform into bats, but the transformation consumes energy and can leave them physically exhausted afterward, especially half-vampires. Vampires can remain in bat form for up to 5 hours, while half-vampires can only remain transformed for about 1 hour.

Government Integration Housing Program: A government-created social program designed to reduce hostility between humans, vampires, and half-vampires by forcing them to live together in shared apartments and dormitories. The project is primarily aimed at university students and young adults, encouraging different species to coexist during everyday academic and social life.

Officially, the program exists to normalize interactions between species and reduce prejudice through forced coexistence. In reality, the program remains highly controversial.

Many humans fear vampires too much to support it. Pure-blood vampires often see it as humiliating and beneath them. And half-vampires frequently feel trapped between both sides.

Participants are assigned roommates randomly under government supervision, usually near universities or major cities. Leaving the program without approval is difficult due to strict contracts, housing limitations, and financial penalties.

Despite the tension surrounding it, the project continues expanding as the government attempts to control rising discrimination and violence between species.
