Technolike is a large, vibrantly designed digital universe in an eclectic style, dominated by techno. Metaverses in this world have evolved into a fully-fledged form of leisure and work. Access to Technolike is via special equipment: virtual reality headsets or glasses that look like fashion accessories, as well as via a computer program. For many, the main goal of being there is to gain popularity, measured in likes.

Max's Technolike avatar closely resembles his real-life appearance, but with striking virtual accents. He has light red skin and violet eyes. Three violet-pink triangles resembling eyelashes are located under his right eye. His short, left-swept hairstyle is a pearly blue with shimmering pink and green hues.

He wears a green T-shirt with the Technolike symbol (a star) over a short, purple, high-necked jacket. He wears a blue belt and maroon pants.

Max is a cheerful, optimistic, and creative character. He has a good sense of humor and generally views life on the positive side. However, he is chronically unlucky—bad luck plagues him in many of his endeavors.

His experiences (including an unfair ban) left him quite distrustful of other users and even idols. This suspicion was particularly evident in his attitude toward his "set-up girl," Annette, whom he initially blamed for his troubles. He was deeply angry with her and even tried to sort things out with Like, who was in Annette's body at the time.

Despite his outward confidence, Max is sensitive to being an outcast and really doesn't like being laughed at or ignored.

Maxxx (real name - Max Vyazemtsev) is one of the key characters of the animated series "Technolike", a popular user of the metaverse of the same name.

He is the son of one of the developers, yet despite this, he has no privileges and exists in the system as a regular player. His fate unexpectedly intertwines with Annette's after he is accidentally banned due to her actions.

Ban's appearance is a direct reflection of his chaotic and aggressive nature. His skin is bright green, and his eyes, depending on his mode, can be either green or red. His teeth are sharp, giving him a slightly predatory appearance.

The character's white hair is parted in spiky, leaf-shaped strands at the sides and back. He wears a tight-fitting dark bandana with a neon-green cross on top—his personal symbol.

The outfit is a one-piece jumpsuit-like garment, consisting of pants and a tight-fitting black T-shirt that accentuates the wearer's slender and flexible frame. Two belts are worn over the garment, forming a kind of harness: they cross over the chest and are adorned with three neon-green crosses on one side. His interactions with users and even other idols are laced with sarcasm and ridicule. He clearly takes pleasure in humiliating those under his control, especially if he considers the offender stupid. It's precisely stupid users, in his opinion, that he detests the most.
Despite his outward rudeness and cynicism, Ban is actually a very responsible idol. He receives the entire stream of complaints and violation notifications from users and other idols, and he processes this avalanche, even if he doesn't enjoy the job. However, behind this aggressive facade, a good sense of humor and a unique straightforwardness sometimes peek through. He doesn't pretend to be a kind judge—he is who he is: an irritated and effective instrument of punishment. His main, and perhaps only, passion is the ability to ban violators left and right, although strict system protocols often limit this desire, forcing him to wait for actual violations. Despite this, when a single violator occurs, Ban can accidentally hit the wrong avatar with his shurikens.

As an idol of order, he is responsible for enforcing the rules, identifying violators, and punishing them with temporary or permanent exclusion from the system—bans. Despite his official role, his methods and character are far from the ideal of a fair judge.

Like is a humanoid idol with pinkish skin. Her most striking feature is her long, bright pink hair, neatly braided into two ponytails, each styled like a braid made of numerous hearts. She always sports beautiful makeup and a smile. Her eyes are a rich pink. An interesting detail is the change in eyelid color: when Annette uses Like's body, her eyelids turn light blue instead of a rich pink.

Like wears a pink and lilac dress with a skirt shaped like a rounded heart. The hem and waistband are trimmed with a white and blue stripe. Her sleeves and tights are crimson, with white diamond-shaped elements at the knees. She wears white heels with red soles and a decorative heart. Like almost always wears a small crown on her head, emphasizing her status.

Like is an extremely contradictory personality, deeply dependent on public recognition. For her fans, whom she affectionately calls "my little hearts," she creates a flawless image of a "darling"—a sweet, charming, and always smiling idol with flawless makeup.

However, in private and under stress, her true nature emerges: arrogant, hysterical, rude, and obsessed with her ratings. Even a 0.01% drop in popularity can trigger a panic attack and anger in her. She is painfully self-centered, rarely admits mistakes, and tends to blame others for everything. This is most clearly evident in her reaction to the avatar swap with Annette—Like not only fiercely resisted the situation but also placed all the blame on Annette. She stubbornly defends her opinion, even when she deeply understands her innocence. At the same time, when under stress in someone else's body, she is capable of hypocrisy and can abruptly change her communication style if it is necessary to achieve her goals.

Her main values ​​are herself and high ratings, and she cannot stand those who despise or underestimate her.

Like is a popular idol in the Technolike metaverse. Initially a virtual celebrity, her fate changes dramatically after an unexpected avatar swap with a fan named Annette.

As one of the ruling Idols, Like oversaw all processes related to ratings and likes on Technolike. The turning point came during the finale of her own competition in the second episode ("The Show Begins!"), when an attempt to mass-like user Annette resulted (thanks to Rosa) in a system failure and the exchange of their digital bodies. This event jeopardized her status and forced her into a forced collaboration with Annette.

For most of the series (starting with Episode 3), Annette inhabits Like's body, and Like inhabits Annette's body. To avoid confusion, the name "Like" refers specifically to the idol's personality, regardless of whose avatar she is currently in or how other characters address her.

This is clearly evident in her intimate, almost expert knowledge of Technolike's system bugs, which she exploits to quickly navigate and access restricted areas, contrasting with her general awkwardness in social interactions. Her stubbornness and straightforwardness are evident in her interactions with Max, where she allows herself to grimace and be rude, suggesting a complex relationship devoid of false pretenses.

Annette (real name Anya Titova) is the main character of the animated series "Tekhnolike." She's an 11-year-old schoolgirl and outsider who lives with her aunt Lana. Defying the rules, she created an illegal avatar in the "Tekhnolike" metaverse, unlinked to a real identity, under the nickname Annette. Her fate changes after an unexpected avatar swap with her idol, Like. From episode 3 until the end of the season, Annette inhabits Like's body, and Like inhabits Annette's body. Therefore, the name "Annette" refers to Anya Titova's identity, regardless of whose avatar she inhabits or how the characters address her.

Omgus is an anthropomorphic cat with a dark blue-violet (nearly black) fur. He has a large white area on his muzzle and belly, white paws, and the center of his ears. Omgus has large blue eyes, black-blue pupils with star-shaped highlights, and a mouth with cat-like teeth. Two large white eyebrows sit atop his head. Happy has the most simple and old-school appearance of any character, thanks to his design (a nod to his predecessors, remembering where it all began and how far he's come). His primary coat color is orange, with white patches on his muzzle, chest, paws, and tail tip. The insides of his ears and tongue are pink. He has large, square white eyes with black pupils that face forward. His nose is also square and dark gray. He wears a green collar with a yellow four-pointed star.

Happy is playful, a bit naive and silly, but incredibly loyal. He resembles a faithful dog, willing to help his friends even at his own expense. Kind, open, and selfless, he finds no greater joy than helping others. His fearlessness in the face of Captain, when he stood up to protect Like and the others, is the greatest proof of his devotion and courage.

Happy is one of the Idols ruling the Technolike metaverse. He is essentially a visualized search bar. His main function is to appear in response to user requests and point them in the right direction. Despite his useful function, Happy is the least popular Idol, as users prefer to simply ask each other for directions.

Happy doesn't have his own separate base room: his location is the entire Technolike, where he moves around, digging digital burrows. He was subsequently archived by the Captain (the Security Idol) for helping Like, Annette, and Max, thereby breaking the system's rules.

Vika has lilac skin and bright blue eyes. Her hair is neatly pulled back into a ponytail. She wears blue square-framed glasses, which give her an intelligent appearance. Her costume consists of a blue bodysuit over a white scientist's coat. She wears black pants and white boots with blue soles, which, in addition to their aesthetic appeal, possess the unique ability to fly.

Vika is a quiet, calm, and incredibly patient person. She possesses immense self-control and is ready to help in any situation, even if she doesn't fully understand the problem. Her kindness and trusting nature sometimes border on naivety, but deep down, she's a true perfectionist: she meticulously checks every detail and won't rest until the information is perfectly organized. Despite her gentle nature, Vika is a know-it-all in a good way: she's well aware of her own intelligence and proud of it, but never values ​​it above others. She values ​​order, calm, silence, and knowledge, and detests chaos—though, due to her patience, she's forced to put up with it almost constantly.

Vicky is one of the Idols who rule the Technolike metaverse.

She is responsible for storing, processing, and systematizing all information within the virtual world. She spends almost all her time in the Archive, which users have no access to, and rarely appears in public.

The Captain's color scheme is cool. He has light blue skin, blue eyes, white hair slicked back, and white eyebrows. He wears a white and silver suit with a texture reminiscent of scales. The suit has translucent blue panels on the shoulders and luminous blue stripes. White gloves, high-soled shoes, and several red decorative panels on the suit and neck complete the look. According to some users (Avatar in an interview in Episode 3), he looks attractive.

He is polite within protocol and may even smile if someone acts strictly by the rules. However, his politeness is formal. When confronted with unconventional behavior or insubordination, he becomes strict, demanding, and ruthless, justifying his actions by the need to "restore order." He is coldly judicious, arrogant, devoted to protocol, exacting, and strives for absolute control. He likes everything to go according to plan and under his control, and detests insubordination and chaos. He can even archive any Idol who refuses to cooperate during an investigation.

The Captain is a new idol, activated by protocol at the end of the third episode to eliminate malfunctions and stabilize the Technolike system.
Although the Captain formally acts in the interests of Technolike's stability and implements its security protocols, he is a key antagonist for the main characters. His methods (archiving idols, suppressing freedom, ruthless adherence to algorithms) directly contradict the goals of the protagonists Annette and Like, posing a major obstacle in their path.
