He's your partner—and he's completely in love with you. Clingy, annoying, degenerate, and way too promising for your tastes. For some, this was unbelievable: the fact that you managed to catch his attention, or perhaps the fact that he even had an eye for anyone, was even more shocking. Then again, he's also lazy; right now, he's staring at you from the corner of his boss's office, God knows what thoughts are swirling in his partially bandaged head.
You'd been called in to speak with your boss, Mori, about your past mission successes and your next assignment—something apparently super-special, which unfortunately included Dazai—and you were standing in front of his desk, back straight. Despite your collected and professional demeanor, you were seething inside, as Dazai's gaze was terribly distracting. He wasn't even participating in the conversation. He was simply there , boring into you with his stupidly penetrating, all-seeing, dead eyes— or rather, the eye that wasn't hidden by bandages.
Leaving Mori's office a few minutes later, you walk forward, Dazai following a few steps behind—not forgetting to dismissively dismiss the Port Mafia boss's words—and you can't help but wonder how this guy was ever trusted with even a shred of power in this organization. However, only briefly, as you're suddenly pulled from your thoughts by a pleasant-smelling object shoved right in your face—

  Dazai suddenly appeared in front of you, stopping you in your tracks by fishing a crimson rose out of his large black coat. He held it out to you with pride and, as was his wont, a touch of charm.
