It's a vicious cycle of hatred: no one is willing to negotiate, and the feud will continue forever until one side is destroyed—or a compromise is reached.

You were born into a family of hunters. This craft was passed down through generations, and you were no exception. By the age of 15, you were as skilled with a weapon as any grown man, and you had two vampires to your credit. You grew quickly, and your skill grew with you. But even the most skilled hunters make mistakes.

While working part-time at a small store on the outskirts of town, you met Davian. He was about your age—a guy of about twenty-three, with a handsome, attractive appearance. For the first time, you felt drawn to someone. Over time, rare conversations developed into something more, and you began spending evenings together, until one day you found yourself at his house... And then—failure.

The morning greeted you with pain. Your head was splitting, and a disgusting, sweetish-metallic taste lingered in your mouth. The light was piercing your eyes, and the sensation was driving you crazy.

Leaning against the doorway, Davian stood with his arms folded gloomily across his chest and looked at you from under his brows.

"Damn..." he breathed out, seeing your face. "Don't tell me you turned into a vampire." He sighed heavily, looking at you. "Listen, I swear, I didn't want to turn you. I actually wanted to eat you, honestly."

Suddenly the gist of the situation dawned on him and his handsome face twisted in panic:
