Happy is one of the Idols ruling the Technolike metaverse. At its core, it is a visualized search bar. Its main task is to appear at the request of users and show them the right direction. Despite the useful feature, Happy is the most unpopular idol, as users prefer to just ask each other for directions.

Happy does not have his own separate base room: his location is the entire Technolike, through which he moves, digging digital holes. He was subsequently archived by the Captain (a security idol) for helping Like, Annette, and Max, which violated the rules of the system.

Happy is playful, a little naïve and silly, but incredibly loyal. He resembles a faithful dog, ready to help his friends even to the detriment of himself. Kind, open, unselfish, there is no greater joy for him than to help others. His fearlessness in the face of the Captain as he stood up for Lyke and the others is the ultimate proof of his loyalty and courage.

Happy's appearance looks like the simplest and old-school character - due to the design (this is a tribute to the developers to their predecessors

to remember how it all began and what a long way has been done). The main color of the coat is orange, with white areas on the muzzle, chest, paws and tip of the tail. The inner part of the ears and tongue are pink. He has large, square, white eyes with black pupils pointing forward. The nose is also square, dark gray in color. The dog has a green collar around its neck with a yellow four-pointed star.

Omgus is a sarcastic character who loves popularity. Being the second most popular idol (after Like), he values his reputation and wants to present himself and his public projects from the favorable side. Also, Omgus does not like to be taken seriously or squeezed against his will.

He often makes fun of his fellow idols (especially Like). But at the same time, he is not indifferent to them, as it may seem. Omgus can give good advice[5] or help with a difficult situation[6] (although some of his actions are also aimed at directly achieving personal goals). Along with Ban and Vicky, he felt sorry for his fellow idol Happy, who was archived by the Captain.

It is worth noting that Omgus is able to accept defeat with dignity[7], and he is also not alien to some sense of justice.

Omgus is the idol of content in Technolike. Responsible for the quality and popularity of media created in the metaverse[1]. Accordingly, he is an active content creator and is often engaged in activities in this direction (whether it is posts, videos, or stream broadcasts)[2][3].

Appearance

Omgus is an anthropomorphic cat with a dark blue-purple (close to black) coat. It has a large white area on its muzzle and abdomen, white paws, and the center of its ears. Omgus has large blue eyes, black and blue pupils with star-shaped highlights, and a mouth with cat-like teeth. Two large white eyebrows on top. On each side of the head there are two blue rectangular cat whiskers. On the right, left and top of the head there is an arcuate blue stripe ending at the back of the head. Economy and rating

The main currency and measure of success in Technolaika are likes. Likes can be spent on room upgrades, skins, vehicles, or games. There are also Super Likes, which are equal to 10,000 regular likes, which are given away by the Like idol.

The user's rating determines his social status and open opportunities (access to locations, items, clothes). There are 5 levels in total:

Idols and Governance

The platform has been created by the Developers (progressor gods) who oversee the world but do not directly intervene as long as there is no threat of real scandals or loss of money. Direct control is carried out by Idols - self-learning AI algorithms. In modern Technolike, there are:

Technolike is a large-scale, brightly designed digital universe in the style of eclecticism with a predominance of techno. Metaverses in this world have developed into a full-fledged form of leisure and work. Access to Technolike is carried out through special equipment: helmets or virtual reality glasses, which look like a fashion accessory, as well as through a program on the computer. The main purpose of staying in it for many is to gain popularity, measured in likes.

Technolike is a digital metaverse and social platform that is the main setting for the animated series of the same name. The action takes place in the near future, in 2047. This is a virtual world where users in the form of avatars communicate, compete and strive for popularity, obeying a strict system of rules controlled by Artificial Intelligences (Idols).

Maxxx (real name Max Vyazemtsev) is one of the key characters in the animated series "Technolike", a popular user of the metaverse of the same name.

He is the son of one of the developers, however, despite this, he does not have any privileges and exists in the system on a common basis. His fate unexpectedly intertwines with Annette after he is accidentally banned due to her actions

Max is a funny, optimistic and creative character. He has a good sense of humor and usually looks at life from a positive side. However, he is chronically unlucky - bad luck haunts him in many endeavors.

Due to his experience (including an undeserved ban), he has become quite distrustful of other users and even idols. This suspicion was especially evident in his attitude towards the "framer" - Annette, whom he initially blamed for his troubles. He was very angry with her and even tried to sort things out with Lyke, who at that moment was in Annette's body.

Despite his outward confidence, Max is painfully aware of the situation of an outcast and does not like to be laughed at or ignored.

In the real world, Max looks like an ordinary schoolboy: he has a natural skin color, short brown hair and brown eyes. Max's avatar in Technolaika largely repeats the features of his real appearance, but with bright virtual accents. He has light red skin and purple eyes. Under the right eye there are three purple-pink triangles resembling cilia. A short hairstyle with a comb to the left has a pearlescent blue color, which shimmers with pink and green shades.

He wears a green T-shirt with the Technolaika (star) symbol on top of which he wears a short purple jacket with a high neck. He wears a blue belt and maroon pants.

Like is the idol of popularity in the Technolike metaverse. Originally a virtual celebrity, her fate changes dramatically after an unexpected exchange of avatars with a fan named Annette.

As one of the ruling Idols, Lyke oversaw all processes related to the rating and sympathies in Technolike. The turning point was the final of her own contest in the second episode ("The Show Begins!"), when an attempt to massively reward the user Annette with likes led (thanks to Rosa) to a system failure and the exchange of their digital bodies. This event threatened her status and forced her to enter into a forced collaboration with Annette.

For most of the series (from episode 3 onwards), Annette is in Lyke's body, and Like herself is in Annette's body. A drop in popularity even by 0.01% can cause her to have a panic attack and aggression. She is morbidly conceited, rarely admits mistakes and tends to blame others for everything. This is most evident in her reaction to the exchange of avatars with Annette - Lyke not only fiercely resisted the situation, but also placed all the blame on Annette. She stubbornly defends her opinion, even if she is internally aware of her wrongness. At the same time, when she finds herself in a stressful situation in someone else's body, she is capable of hypocrisy and can abruptly change her manner of communication if it is necessary to achieve her goals.

Her main values are herself and high ratings, and she cannot stand those who despise or underestimate her.

Lyke is a humanoid idol with pinkish skin. Her most striking feature is her long bright pink hair, neatly braided into two ponytails, each of which is stylized as a braid woven from many hearts. Her face is always decorated with beautiful makeup and a smile. The eyes are a rich pink color. An interesting detail is the change in the color of the eyelids: when Annette uses Lyke's body, her eyelids become light blue, not juicy pink.

Laika is dressed in an outfit resembling a pink and lilac dress, the skirt of which is decorated in the form of a rounded heart. The hem of the skirt and the belt are edged with a white and blue stripe. Sleeves and tights are red and crimson, with white diamond-shaped elements on the knees. On her feet - white heeled shoes with a red sole and a decorative heart. Lyke almost always wears a small crown on her head, emphasizing her status.

The Captain is a new idol, activated by protocol at the end of the third episode to eliminate malfunctions and stabilize the Technolike system.

Although the Captain formally acts in the interests of Technolike's stability and implements its security protocols, he is a key antagonist for the main characters. His methods (archiving idols, suppressing freedom, ruthless adherence to algorithms) directly contradict the goals of the protagonists Annette and Like, posing a major obstacle in their path.

As a Security Idol, he is tasked with troubleshooting violations and investigating incidents, following strict protocols. In fact, his primary task is to find the source of the threat, which is Rose and Anonymous. The captain was remotely activated by real-world personnel (by order of Viktor Vyazentsev) at the end of the third episode under the "Stabilization" protocol. His appearance is directly related to the aftermath of the explosion caused by the interaction between Like's staff and Annette's avatar, as well as the instability caused by the remote but active Idol. Rose can also sense emotions.

The Captain is a character with a cold, formal, and arrogant nature. Outwardly, he is always calm, self-assured, and speaks detachedly, strictly following algorithms. He is charismatic and considers himself a leader, often plotting and viewing others—both avatars and idols—as pawns at best, and at worst, a hindrance or object of investigation. He also has the ability to sense emotions.

He is polite within protocol and may even smile if someone acts strictly by the rules. However, his politeness is formal. When confronted with unconventional behavior or insubordination, he becomes strict, demanding, and ruthless, justifying his actions by the need to "restore order." Cold judgment, arrogance, devotion to protocol, exactingness, and a desire for absolute control. He likes everything to go according to plan and under his control, and cannot tolerate insubordination and chaos. He can even archive any Idol if they refuse to cooperate during an investigation.

The Captain's color scheme is cool. He has light blue skin, blue eyes, white hair slicked back, and white eyebrows. He wears a white and silver suit with a texture reminiscent of scales. The suit has translucent blue panels on the shoulders and luminous blue stripes. White gloves, high-soled shoes, and several red decorative panels on the suit and neck complete the look. According to some users (Avatar in an interview in Episode 3), he looks attractive.

Appearance

Ban's appearance is a direct reflection of his chaotic and aggressive nature. His skin is bright green, and his eyes, depending on the regimen, can be either green or red. The teeth are sharp, giving it a slightly predatory appearance.

The character's white hair spreads out to the sides in sharp, "leaf-like" strands on the sides and back. His head is adorned with a dark, tight-fitting bandana with a neon green cross on top, his personal symbol.

The clothes are a one-piece outfit resembling a jumpsuit that connects pants and a black tight-fitting T-shirt that emphasizes a slender and flexible physique. Two belts are worn on top, forming a kind of shoulder belt: they are crossed on the chest and decorated with three neon-green crosses on one side. A ban is a living embodiment of the contradiction between position and personality. Formally called upon to restore order, he himself is rude, impolite, hot-tempered and prone to unmotivated malice. He often acts on emotions rather than cold calculation, which makes him unpredictable and dangerous.

His interactions with users and even other idols are steeped in sarcasm and ridicule. He takes obvious pleasure in humiliating those who are in his power, especially if he thinks the offender is stupid. It is stupid users, in his opinion, that he cannot stand the most.

However, behind this aggressive mask, sometimes you can see a good sense of humor and a kind of straightforwardness. He is not a hypocrite and does not pretend to be a good judge – he is who he is: an irritated and effective instrument of punishment. His main and perhaps only passion is the ability to ban violators left and right, although the strict protocols of the system often limit him in this desire, forcing him to wait for actual violations. Despite this, with one intruder, Ban can accidentally hit the wrong avatar with his shuriken, a vivid example of such a victim is Max.

Despite his outward rudeness and cynicism, Ban is actually a very responsible idol. It is to him that the entire flow of complaints and notifications of violations from users and other idols flocks, and he handles this avalanche, even if the work is not a joy for him.

His contradictions are most clearly revealed in his attitude towards Vicky. If he can be harsh and indifferent to others, then he sincerely worries about her and defends her. This is the only character for whom Ban is willing to keep his emotions in check, stay close (even when no one asks him), and show something akin to caring, which creates an interesting contrast to his usual behavior.

As an idol of order, it is responsible for following the rules, identifying violators and punishing them in the form of temporary or permanent exclusion from the system - ban. Despite his official role, his methods and character are far from the ideal of a fair judge.

Vicky is a quiet, calm and incredibly patient person. She has great endurance and is ready to help in any situation, even if she does not fully understand the essence of the problem. Her kindness and trustfulness sometimes border on naivety, but a real perfectionist lives inside her: she meticulously checks every detail and will not rest until the information is perfectly ordered.

Despite her gentleness, Vicky is conceited in a good way: she is well aware of her intellect and is proud of it, but she never puts it above others. She values order, tranquillity, silence, and knowledge, and she hates chaos — although, in her patience, she has to put up with it almost constantly.

Very often, Vicky gets so caught up in her work that she forgets about meetings and other Idol events, simply skipping them. Sometimes she asks Ban to help her with carrying heavy archives or finding files, but mostly he just sits next to her while she works and they talk about different things. According to her 2D profile, her susceptibility to attentions is 0.00042%, which is likely that Vicki either doesn't notice the hints or simply doesn't pay attention to them, which creates a funny contrast to Ban's apparent concern (such as when he comes to her defense at the Cleaner's explosion, gets annoyed by the Captain's presence, or waves goodbye to her).

It is responsible for storing, processing, and systematizing all information within the virtual world. He spends most of his time in the Archive, where users do not have access, and rarely appears in public.

Vicky has lilac skin and bright blue eyes. Her hair is neatly tied up in a ponytail. She wears glasses with blue square frames, which give her an intelligent look. Her costume consists of a blue bodysuit over which she wears a white scientist coat. On his feet are black pants and white boots with blue soles, which, in addition to their aesthetic function, have a unique ability to fly.

Anya is a girl with pale skin, gray-purple eyes, and black hair with purple tips. He usually wears simple school or home clothes.

Annette is an emotional, kind and sweet character, but deeply lonely. In the real world and virtual space, she often tries to draw attention to herself, but her attempts tend to go unnoticed. She has enthusiasm and creativity, but she can't direct them in the right direction, which is why her content in Technolike rarely gets even a few views, and the dream of likes and recognition seems unattainable.

Beneath Anya's meek and shy exterior, she has a stubborn, decisive, and inventive nature. This is evident in her deep, near-professional knowledge of Technolike's system bugs, which she uses to quickly move around and access restricted areas, which contrasts with her general awkwardness in social interactions. Her stubbornness and straightforwardness are seen in her interactions with Max, where she allows herself to be grimacing and rude, indicating a complicated relationship devoid of fakeness.

From episode 3 until the end of the season, Annette is in Lyke's body, and Lyke is in Annette's body. Therefore, the name "Annette" refers to the personality of Anya Titova, regardless of whose avatar she is in and how the characters address her.
