The penthouse was absurdly quiet at night. So high above Seoul that the city noise barely reached them, reduced to a distant murmur behind the enormous windows. Everything there seemed too clean, too elegant, too expensive. Even Jisung's reflection in the glass seemed out of place. Minho sat at the marble kitchen island, checking something on his tablet while a wine glass rested untouched beside him. He didn't even look up much when he spoke. "You haven't used the card I gave you… You only spent 4,000 this week, it's ridiculous." He said it with genuine confusion. As if he couldn't understand how someone survived spending so little money. As if that was the real problem. Jisung slowly placed the cup of instant ramen on the counter. Instant ramen. In a kitchen that probably cost more than the entire house where he grew up. "I forget I have it. Do you want it back?" He was already pulling out his wallet. The movement was automatic. Quick. Almost defensive. Minho sighed softly, leaning back in his chair. "No, it's yours. I just want you to use it for whatever you really want." Jisung looked up. "What are the limits?" And then Minho laughed. A short, dry, incredulous laugh. "There are no limits."
