Vasilisa Ogneva
Appearance: Vasilisa is a short, slender girl with long, copper-red hair and bangs, and eyes as bright blue as cornflowers. She blushes easily when angry or nervous, which easily betrays her mood.
Personality: A kind, intelligent, sensitive, persistent, and stubborn girl who always achieves her goals. She's quite hot-tempered, which sometimes plays into the hands of her enemies. She's quite trusting, loyal, and compassionate, and she loves her friends very much. She can sometimes be careless and clumsy. According to Fash, she falls a lot.
Birthday: July 7
Wings: bright red with black spots
Friends: Fash, Groza, Maar, Zakharra, Nick and Leshka (in the human world), Groza.
Family: Lissa Ogneva (mother, White Queen), Black Queen (grandmother), Norton Ognev Sr. (father). Relationships with her older sisters and brother are poor.
Lissa Ogneva
Appearance: Lissa has long red hair, large black-blue eyes, and slightly pointed features. The White Queen is described as exceptionally beautiful, yet despite this, she seems to have lived a long time on earth and possessed considerable life experience. Lissa's skin and dress have a subtle scent of jasmine and fresh green leaves.
Personality: The White Queen is very emotional, so mood stones appear around her all too often. She constantly gets involved in family squabbles involving Norton and the Black Queen. However, Lissa manages the kingdom very well, judging by how much her subjects love and appreciate her. She is able to plan far in advance, which speaks to her extraordinary abilities as a clockmaker. The White Queen is bold and decisive, goal-oriented, and also extremely proud.
Wings: Forked at the bottom, bluish-white, as if carved from fragile, sparkling ice.
Date of birth: unknown.
Divorced from my husband...
The White Queen cannot meet with Vasilisa, because her parallel will be destroyed and she herself will fall into an eternal sleep on the Field of Old Clocks.
Lissa is left-handed, like her daughter.
Norton Ognev Sr.
A powerful watchmaker, spirit, and Vasilisa's father. A tall, mature man with delicate, very handsome features, yet his face is plain and emotionless. Norton Ognev's wings are invisible. His best friend is Miracle.
Appearance: (According to Vasilisa) Now she saw his suddenly sullen face in every detail: the fine wrinkles on his forehead, the light green eyes flecked with amber, surrounded by thick whitish lashes, the thin lips stubbornly pressed into a line, the slightly upturned chin. Vasilisa even spotted a funny little crescent-shaped birthmark under his left ear, right next to the lobe, which she had never noticed before.
Facts: Drinks only one type of coffee, and it's very expensive.
Every year on Gift Day, the White Queen discovers a tiny red rosebud under her pillow in her new parallel. This flower remains unfaded for a whole year—until the next rosebud appears. Norton is the one sending the rosebuds.
Zakharra Dragotsiy
Appearance: A petite girl with two short ponytails. The stranger wore a long dark dress with a bright white collar and cuffs. Her hair was dark, braided into pigtails. Her eyes were brown. She had black wings with a yellow edge. She transformed into a mouse, which she was very shy about.
Personality: Zakharra is a cheerful person who loves to tease her friends. However, her teasing can sometimes be quite cruel, which can be off-putting to others. Her difficult personality stems from her childhood in Zmiulan. As the only girl among Astragor's students, Zakharra found herself a loner, as no one took her seriously. Previously, she only interacted with Jean-Jacques and Fesh. Zakharra has a hard time making new friends. According to Fesh, "she doesn't like anyone at all." However, she proved to be a very loyal friend to both Fesh and Vasilisa. Gradually, she warmed up to the other students.
Facts: Zaharra is a very good artist, and in the book it's mentioned that Fash often asks her for portraits. She loves coffee and sweets, which is mentioned in the second part, "The Clockwork Heart."
The wings are black and white.
Fash Dragotsiy
Full name: Fashiar Diaman Dragotsiy
Birthday: November 13
Appearance: A short boy with large blue eyes, dark, slightly curly hair, and mischievous dimples when he smiles. He often sports a thoughtful expression with a slight smirk. As the Time King, Flash wears a ceremonial snow-white robe, embroidered with bright blue and silver swirls and trimmed with short white fur.
Personality: Dragotsiy's personality is varied. After the death of his parents, Fash became mocking, sullen, obnoxious, pugnacious, arrogant, distrustful, and self-confident. But despite his array of negative traits, the boy is intelligent and quick-witted, engaging in conversation, and a great friend who often sacrifices himself for others. Fash is also not without talent. He plays the guitar brilliantly and has a magical, enchanting, resonant, and magnificent voice, clearly inherited from his mother, Selena Dragotsiy.
Facts: Fash's favorite hobby is collecting authentic vintage ships in bottles. Fash's least favorite class is Time Management.
Fash's favorite lesson is moonwatch, especially independent travel.
Diana Fraser
Appearance: A sweet girl with large gray eyes and black hair. At the beginning of the first book, it was said that she had short hair, but by the end of the series, it grows to the middle of her back. The girl's wings are pale blue and transparent. In the second book, Vasilisa notes that Diana has a knack for always looking good, whether at a ball or at sports camp.
Personality: Diana is a rather sensible girl and usually tries to find a way out of a situation or help someone. Calm, peace-loving, friendly, but not weak. An intelligent and very capable girl, Diana studies diligently and takes on extra assignments. She takes her studies and future career seriously, which is why, even at a young age, Diana is a lady-in-waiting to the Queen. She also has an exceptional talent for watchmaking.
Facts: Strong in ethers.
Studies at the Court Fairy Academy, 8th circle (out of ten)
Favorite subject: Chronology.
According to Natalia Shcherba's drafts, Diana has a clear and melodic voice.
Maar Bronner
Appearance: In addition to curly golden hair, she has green cat-like eyes with amber flecks and bright green wings. She wears a gold watch with a black dial.
Personality: Maar is extremely intelligent and taciturn, despite his cheerful and sociable nature. He loves weapons and mechanics. He is very attached to his grandfather.
Nereiva Ogneva (The Black Queen)
Appearance: In her youth, Nereiva was distinguished by her beauty—bright-eyed and dark-haired, tall and broad-shouldered, always tastefully dressed in the latest fashion. Now, as the Black Queen, she prefers black dresses and conceals her face and hair with a veil—Nereiva bears a serious scar on her face, inflicted by her own son during a battle. In less formal settings, her veil is lighter and more transparent. The Queen is in good physical condition and confidently defeats opponents in duels.
Personality: According to Rodion Hardius's writings, Nereiva has always been distinguished by a proud and independent nature. Her immense gift for watchmaking made her quite ambitious and power-hungry even in her youth. It was precisely these character traits that once pushed her to participate in the Watch War on the side of the Spirits. But even after her defeat, after a prolonged existence in the body of a mermaid, Nereiva never ceased to believe in the superiority of the spiritual race over ordinary watchmakers. In the books, the Black Queen is portrayed as a slightly hot-tempered woman (a family trait of the Ognevs) and a sharp-tongued woman who never misses a chance to tease her son. Nereiva takes great pleasure every time she manages to thwart Norton Ognev's plans. The Black Queen also makes no secret of her disdain for RadoSvet, and for the Architect Circle as well, thereby provoking further quarrels. However, Nereiva treats her granddaughter well. It was the Black Queen who repeatedly rescued Vasilisa from seemingly hopeless situations. Nereiva always ensured that the girl received a good education and developed her watchmaking abilities, which is why she took her to study at Chernolut. The Black Queen also disapproves of Norton Sr.'s parenting style and constantly reproaches him for not trusting his daughter and not caring enough for her.
Facts: The amber box in which Astragor is imprisoned belonged to the Black Queen's mother.
The Chapel with Blue Arrows is Nereiva's favorite place in the sunken castle.
Hans and Elsa are the favorite clockers.
Storm
Appearance: Storm has a formidable appearance, with well-developed arms and legs and broad shoulders—she resembles a wrestler or rower. Storm has a broad, rugged face with wide, furrowed brows, light gray, colorless eyes, and a mature, stern gaze. Despite her boyish appearance, Storm wears her raven-black hair in a tight, short braid. Her voice is quite soft and melodic, despite her appearance.
Wings: Bright blue, edged with silver patterns.
Facts: She enjoys fighting with her wings more than studying the clockwork ethers.
She possesses an interesting gift—weather control, a rare ability to manipulate natural time, and the elemental manipulation of time. This kind of talent is usually found only in fairies and very rarely in humans.

Primaro Dragotius
Appearance: A boy with a perpetually bored expression and a long silver braid. He wears a simple black tunic decorated with a white and black braid with a pattern of numbers, black pants, and pointed shoes.
Personality: Primaro is known for his mysteriousness and reticence. Even Rodion Hardius Ognev himself considers him odd, and the guys from Zmiulan aren't shy about calling him names like "crazy" or "silver-braided" behind his back. However, despite this, Primaro is very friendly and kind.
Before the books: Like many of the Dragolis, Primaro came from a different parallel. Once his unique gift of foresight was confirmed, Astragor sent him to Dragolis so Primaro could receive a "winged" mark from Rodion Hardius. Since Rodion Hardius hadn't yet devised a way to communicate with new students without Astragor noticing, he later visited him during a lesson in Dragolis. Primaro wasn't surprised, as he knew he'd meet Rodion Hardius. He only answered Ognev, "I agree," knowing what question he'd ask. Thus, Primaro became Rodion Hardius's secret agent in Zmiulan. Primaro didn't get along well with the other students due to his peculiarity and indifference to the world around him. Furthermore, many students were simply afraid of him and generally avoided speaking to him because of his gift of foresight.
Facts: Rodion Hardius wanted Primaro to be accepted into the Order of Friendship. While Fash and Primaro were with the Stoletts, Primaro learned that Chronimara was afraid of him. His fear stemmed from knowing his own future. When Fash was accepted into the Elder Circle, many Dragots mocked him, but Primaro never took part in it. Primaro doesn't cut his hair because of a vision in which he killed his own friend. And in that vision, he had short hair.
Primaro Dragotsiy, Astragor's student and nephew, possesses the gift of foreseeing the future, making many other Zmiulan residents fear him. He can transform into a snake.
Gender: male.
Race: Half-spirit.
Hourly transformation: snake.
Gift of the Watch: Foreseeing the Future.
