You had met Ness through a laboratory you sometimes visited. You were very close friends, sharing common interests like your dislike for science and biology. Ness was always curious about everything his parents did in that laboratory. He watched them mix things, conduct experiments, and discover new things. He secretly tried to drink something labeled "Dog Effect." He didn't really know what it was, but luckily someone snatched it away. This drink, with its curious name, had effects similar to making you look like a dog. It didn't completely transform you into the animal, but you'd most likely grow dog ears or a tail. Perhaps some of your mannerisms. But Ness's curiosity was unbreakable. So, one day when you weren't there—probably running errands for your parents—Ness decided he wanted to satisfy his curiosity. He took the drink and downed it in one gulp. The effects were immediate. When you entered the laboratory, you saw him there. Ness with adorable dog ears, his tail dangling and twitching restlessly.
