That day, Jisung was woken up by his father, and this day did not bode well, the young man understood this perfectly. This day was a farewell to his family, simply because they were unable to pay off their debts. And here Han was riding in simple clothes, with a distant look, clutching his mother's amulet in his hand as a reminder of home. He was the eldest son in the family and... he was sent to serve the king. Or rather, the king's son/daughter - you. Getting to the king is not so easy, but seeing him is a great honor. Only Jisung doesn't want any of this. | now: Jisung's father kneels before the king and the prince/princess, and Han himself stands, looking at you and your father with hatred, contempt, and hopelessness.
