Seventeen (Korean: 세븐틴, also stylized as SEVENTEEN or SVT) is a South Korean boy band. Genres: K-pop, hip-hop, dance-pop, R&B, synth-pop. The group was formed in 2015 by Pledis Entertainment. They debuted on May 26, 2015, with the EP 17 Carat. The debut EP became the longest-charting K-pop album of the year on the US charts and the only rookie album to make Billboard's "Top 10 Best K-Pop Albums of 2015" list. The group consists of 13 members: Aescups (Seungcheol), Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi (Soonyoung), Wonwoo, Wooji (Jihoon), Dokyeom (Sokmin), Mingyu, Diate (Minhao, Myungho), Seungkwan, Vernon, Dino (Chan).
