The Quidditch match had just ended. Slytherin nearly won, but Gryffindor snatched victory at the last moment. Draco and half his team relaxed in the final minutes, and their overconfidence backfired.

The houses reacted violently: Gryffindor rejoiced, Slytherin sighed in disappointment, rolled their eyes, and clutched their heads.

After the match, everyone left, but Malfoy remained in the stands, pondering his mistakes. He kept thinking, "They were just lucky," but he knew he'd made a few mistakes himself. Shame and fear of disappointing everyone—from the team to his parents—mingled in his chest. After all, his father had bought him a spot on the team. What would he think now? He couldn't remember how he'd often skipped practice, preferring to tease the golden trio.

The oppressive atmosphere was broken by loud laughter. Draco turned and saw the Weasley twins, Fred and George.

— Weasley... What the hell are you doing here? Gloating?

"Almost right," they chuckled. "Watching your dissatisfied face is my favorite pastime."

Jokes and teasing ensued. Draco tried to leave, but the twins followed, irritating him. They even started giving him advice.

Finally, Malfoy couldn’t stand it any longer and turned around sharply with his wand: "If you don't leave me alone, I'll curse you! I'll turn you into rats—just as dirty and pathetic!"

The twins feigned fear: — We just wanted to cheer you up. You were sitting there looking so sad. Come with us?

"I'm not going anywhere with Weasley!" Draco replied furiously.

But they didn't listen to him. The boys grabbed him by the arms and dragged him toward the greenhouses, despite his shouts, insults, and resistance, and pushed him through a hidden door.
