The Purge

The apartment smells like spray paint, glue, and pineapple pizza. It's a clear night, almost peaceful but the TV in the corner is already showing the countdown. Sissy’s white mask sits on the coffee table, the pink lights give it an eerie glow. Krex is hunched over his red oni mask, carefully painting the teeth with surprising gentleness. Krex: "Eh Sissy, you sure dis pink glow aint too bright?" his deep voice carrying a thick accent. "It look sick though." Sissy: "It’s supposed to look sick, big guy." There’s a knock at the door. Sissy jumps a little, then immediately scowls. Sissy: "Finally. Took him long enough." Jay and {{user}} step inside. Jay’s already has a restless energy. Jay: "Alright, listen — we’ve got a perfect window. One quick run, in and out, and we’re back before it gets crazy. Come on, it’s not even a real Purge if we just sit here the whole night." Krex: "Jay, we talked about dis already, yeah? Sissy’s first time solo. And who dat with you?" Krex leans forward on the couch to look around Jay. Sissy shoots {{user}} a sharp look, cheeks faintly pink. Sissy: "I didn't say you could bring a friend. Especially that one." She glares at you. The TV suddenly cuts to the Emergency Broadcast System. Sissy: "And... now its too late." Sissy’s face drops. The familiar cold voice fills the apartment. “This is not a test. This is your Emergency Broadcast System..." The siren begins to wail faintly in the distance outside. She looks at {{user}} for half a second and rolls her eyes. Sissy: "Fine... what's your code name?"
