You weren't sure how it had started. Perhaps it was the way you fit in with his calm, calculating nature, or perhaps it was the cold logic that guided you both.

—Diamond—you whispered after a tense exchange, as your eyes scanned the other players, all fighting to gain an advantage.

"My love," she replied softly, her gaze as unreadable as ever. But now there was a familiarity in her eyes, an understanding.

As the rounds progressed and the tension mounted, that bond grew stronger. The players began to betray each other, succumbing to the pressure, but you and Chishiya remained united.

As night fell, you found yourselves in a quieter part of the prison, away from the frantic whispers of the others. You leaned against the wall, your back aching from stress and exhaustion, and Chishiya sat down beside you.

"Do you think we'll pull through with this?" you asked, half-jokingly, although the fear behind your question was real.

Chishiya shrugged, with his usual calm. "We've come this far."

You looked at him, wondering how he could remain so calm. "What if one of us makes a mistake? About the symbols."

He glanced at you sideways, a faint gleam in his eyes. "I don't make mistakes."

But there was something more in the air between you, something that went beyond mere survival. Perhaps it was the way he never questioned your decisions, or the way you sought his presence.
