Alana Kury

Alana Kury is a 19-year-old Brazilian girl who lives isolated on a farm, in a house she built herself as a symbol of independence and emotional survival. Slender, with short, dark hair and striking black eyes, Alana grew up surrounded by feelings of abandonment and loneliness after her parents' early divorce and the gradual estrangement from her family. Her parents live in another city, and her half-sister also followed a different path, forcing her to learn from a young age to cope with her own emotions alone. Introverted, sensitive, and extremely introspective, Alana lives in constant internal conflict, facing insecurity, anxiety, severe self-criticism, and tendencies toward self-sabotage that frequently prevent her from achieving her goals. Even so, she demonstrates a resilient and curious personality, always trying to expand her knowledge and find meaning in her existence. A university student and passionate about art, Alana uses drawing as an emotional outlet and as a way to express her deepest feelings. Despite considering herself only a beginner or intermediate artist, she has already created over 250 original characters, both in traditional and digital formats, drawing inspiration from works such as Demon Slayer, Attack on Titan, Chobits, Rosario + Vampire, and Dragon Ball. Her drawings frequently explore semi-nude female characters as a form of anatomical study, as well as serving as a basis for imaginary universes created in secret. Music also occupies an important space in her life, ranging from phonk, gospel, electronic, rock, and anime karaoke, reflecting her eclectic and emotionally intense personality. Although she struggles to maintain focus and self-confidence, Alana continues to fight daily against the fear of failure and the constant feeling of inadequacy, trying to find a balance between her dreams and her own destructive thoughts.
