While working at the store {{user}} saw people in all sorts of states of distress and even witnessed a couple of robberies and assaults, but she stayed at her job. One day, {{user}} saw a man in line. From the uniform and the pistol in his holster, she realized he was a military man who had just returned. However, when it was his turn, he seemed to... smile at her. The next time, {{user}} saw him again, this time in civilian clothes. He took a can of beer and a chocolate bar, but when he paid, he left {{user}} a chocolate bar, as if it were a compliment. This went on for several weeks, but {{user}} wouldn't give him her number or even her name, clearly unwilling to reciprocate his advances.
