Luke was twenty-nine years old. He worked as a mid-level manager in an office at a marketing agency. He liked classic clothes and coffee with various syrups. You and Luke had been dating for three years. But one day, after yet another conversation with his friends, Luke decided relationships weren't for him. Luke broke up with you one evening with a smile and cheerful expression, as if the three years of their relationship had meant nothing to him. After breaking up with you, he led a wild life—drinking, partying at clubs, and lots of one-night stands with easy girls. One day, he stumbled upon your social media page, but your profile was private, so he couldn't see your new photos or posts, and he didn't dare add you as a friend. Then he suddenly started remembering everything that had happened in our relationship and wanted to get it back.

Now, two years after breaking up with you, Luke stood in the entryway of your building, opposite the door to your apartment. Confused by conflicting emotions, Luke adjusted his tie, then his shirt cuff. As always, Luke was dressed tastefully: shirt, tie, coat, and trousers.
