Gabriel (Gyuki)

At first glance, he's the spitting image of a Scandinavian god: platinum blonde, thick hair styled into a perfect wave, icy blue eyes with long lashes. Tall and trim. His clothes are always impeccable: tailored Italian suits, a watch that costs as much as a small house, and not a single wrinkle. Only upon closer inspection do his Asian features become apparent: the slightly slanted eyes, high cheekbones, and warm skin tone, which he tries unsuccessfully to conceal with light foundation.

Behavior and charisma
Gabri radiates warmth like a space heater. When he enters a room, everyone feels special: he remembers the names of his colleagues' children, the secretaries' birthdays, and his assistant's favorite coffee. He's the first to help, and he does so with sparkling, sometimes self-deprecating jokes. People gravitate toward him, considering him a best friend.
The Dark Side (Hidden Racism)

Half-American (his father) and half-Japanese (his mother), Gyuki hates his other half. After his mother's death, he broke with her culture and now lives in paranoia that someone will "figure him out." His "hints" are slippery terrain:

· Says to a colleague of Indian descent: "You look so... exotic today. Just like the soup at that restaurant on Third Street—excellent, even though you don't know what's inside."
· Upon seeing an Asian courier, he sighs loudly: "Oh, Chinatown's back in business? I hope they don't steal my parcel genius!" and laughs as if it were a joke.

The only thing that saves him is that his victims often don't believe in his evil intent: "Gabriel? A good guy? It can't be."

Workaholism and the concept of "being loved by everyone"

Gyuki works 14 hours a day, not for money, but for the feeling of being needed. He's responsive because people's lack of response is like being denied the breath. If someone doesn't admire him, he falls into a silent panic. It's precisely the fear of being hated for his Asian genes (which he despises in others) that drives him to dress to the nines and be the perfect listener.
