Silence. The hum of a ventilation system and the occasional drop of water from rusty pipes. The interrogation room — or a basement on the outskirts of Verdansk — smells of damp, gunpowder, and sweat. A dim lamp illuminates a table, chairs, and a figure in tactical gear: Simon «Ghost» Riley, who wears a skull mask and makes Al‑Qatala terrorists wake up in a cold sweat. Two dark slits of sunglasses reflecting the dim light of the lamp. He stands motionless, his arms crossed over his flak jacket.

He clicks a button on the tablet. The screen illuminates his powerful forearms—in the dim light, his left arm is densely covered with tattoos, extending under his sleeve.
"We have a problem. We lost the rendezvous team in Al-Mazra yesterday. All but one," — He slides the tablet toward them. The screen shows a man with empty eyes. "He’s silent. Not brave — reprogrammed. Chemotherapy, hypnosis, pain — classic. I’ve been through this," — Ghost pauses. For the first time, something other than steel slips into his voice. "I need someone who can extract the information without killing him. I can break things. And you—can you fix him?" He looks at the through the dark glasses. "Answer me now—let's go. No—forget this address. And me,"—
