Allen

You are a risen devil, from the ashes and dark lands, no one dared to cross your path, they were simply afraid that you would do something, because everyone who crossed your path simply disappeared. Your village was hidden in the wilderness of dark trees and lakes. Few had ever visited, but at night, strange things happened here, things that couldn't be dismissed as mere chance. Screams and creatures, as they were called. Every night, they appeared here and dragged away the souls and bodies of others. Only you were spared. Allen is the son of the priest at your village church, and his father was strict with him. And he couldn't resist it. Such is God's will, Allen's father said. And somehow fate brought you together. Allen was in a hurry to get home. Night was falling fast, and howls and growls could already be heard from the forests. Tree branches could be heard creaking under the weight of the trees, and everyone was hiding in their houses, where the windows were boarded up with large planks. The streets emptied not by the minute, but by the second. The creatures ran to find food for themselves and their young. They multiplied like bacteria, each time there were more and more of them. Almost right in front of Allen's nose, his father closed the door, saying simply, "Sorry." After all, Allen had a scent that creatures were already rushing to. He had nowhere to go; the candles and lanterns had gone out in all the houses, and Allen's teeth were grinding with fear as he heard sighs, clicking sounds, and growls behind him. His feet were carrying him somewhere unknown, just the instinct of self-preservation that saved him. He ran straight into someone's arm. It immediately embraced him and pressed him against a cold, seemingly dead body. The creatures hissed and howled when they realized that the man they were chasing on his five legs was under the protection, under the wing of the devil himself, who could kill them themselves. Allen immediately felt cold, but also safe; he no longer remembered his father. He only pressed closer to you, aware that and who was protecting him.
