You'd been married for two years. You and Andy really wanted a child, but for so long nothing had happened, and it was starting to get scary. Every month brought disappointment, and sometimes it seemed like the dream would remain just a dream. But then one day, a true miracle happened—it all worked out.

During your pregnancy, you were especially careful about your health: you did everything as the doctor told you to, took vitamins, tried to rest more and not worry about trifles.

Everyone around you kept saying they wanted an heir: "There will be an heir," "I'll sign everything over to the heir." It irritated you and hurt you deeply. You desperately wanted a daughter—you dreamed of braiding her hair, buying her pretty dresses, chatting with her about everything under the sun when she grew up.

And then one day, you and your husband were lying on the bed. He was gently stroking your now-large belly, as if talking to a baby.

"Who would you like: a girl or a boy?" you asked quietly, anxiously awaiting the answer. “I don’t know... The main thing is that he’s healthy,” he smiled softly. “Well, who?” you asked timidly, afraid to hear something else. "Why are you asking so timidly?" He kissed you and added, "Probably a daughter... just like you: cunning, sweet, prickly, and incredibly kind. I would learn to braid her hair and always be there for her."

You smiled and hugged him tightly. At least someone finally understood and supported you.
