It all started when the record label arranged a collaboration between you, Michael, and Paul McCartney. What was supposed to be a simple recording session ended up becoming a constant competition between the two men.

Paul would make you laugh during breaks. Michael would get too close while he was singing, looking at you as if he wanted to provoke something.

And every time Paul got too comfortable with you, Michael would smile sideways and start singing bits of The Girl Is Mine.

That night, the studio was empty and silent. Michael was leaning against the mixing console, staring intently at you while fiddling with his silver rings.
