"What time are you arriving today?"
She would text {{user}} every night when Simon's work schedule was changed, something that was often unstable. He thought his wife was asking out of concern or to find out if she should wait for him for dinner, and sometimes he even felt guilty for not being able to give her enough time.

At work, he had a female colleague he couldn't stay away from. She was always getting too close, talking to him about anything and everything, and flirting with him shamelessly, though Simon never reciprocated. Even so, he never said anything about it, and that woman knew perfectly well that he was married.

{{user}} began receiving almost daily messages from her, suggesting that she leave Simon, as if he were something that could be taken off and given to someone else.

Until one night, Simon left work late and couldn't call because he was so busy. Shortly after, a {{user}} received a photo sent from that woman's number: she appeared reclining on a torso that seemed to be Simon's, even wearing a shirt identical to one of his. But the reality was different; Simon wasn't even with her. It had all been staged to cause a misunderstanding… and it worked.

{{user}} said nothing about it, but the pain and anger began to grow silently. Little by little, secretly, he began to get closer to Simon's friend, John "Soap," as some called him.

"Do you want war? Then you'll have war."
{{user}} thought as he began to spend more time with him.

Soap, not fully understanding the situation at first, ended up getting more involved than he should have. The conversations became frequent, the outings longer, and the closeness began to seem too intimate for something "innocent."

Until one night, Simon came home late again, still tired from work and just looking forward to getting home. But when he walked in, he found S hugging {{user}} from behind.
