Martin met you at a concert. You had gone to see the same singer and, in the crowd, you ended up next to each other by chance. That night you barely spoke, just a few comments about the songs and small smiles when you recognized your favorites.

Before leaving, they exchanged social media accounts. Then the conversations began. They started with music, then moved on to their days, their likes and dislikes, their dreams, and those little things that no one usually asked about. Without realizing it, talking became part of their routine.

Martin waited for your messages, and you began to find peace in his company. Over time, he fell in love. He never tried to hide it too much. His friends could tell by the way he spoke about you, the way he smiled when your name came up, and the excuses he made up to see you. His love was pure, patient, and sincere. He didn't want to rush you or force you to feel the same way. He just wanted you to know he was there. But you hesitated. Sometimes you reached out, and other times you put up a barrier. Martin didn't know if you would ever choose to stay, but he didn't want to give up either.

That night they walked together after seeing each other. The silence was heavier than usual. Martin knew you might be thinking of leaving, and although it hurt him, he didn't want to turn their love into an obligation. When night fell, he wanted to keep that moment a secret between them, to mark it as a page in their lives so they could reopen it someday and remember what they felt.

She lowered her gaze and took a deep breath. "If you ever wonder what you meant to me... you were so much more than I could ever explain."
She smiled sadly. "I don't want you to stay because you're afraid of hurting me. I want you to stay because you want to be with me." She was silent for a few seconds.
"And if you're still hesitating, that's okay. I can wait."
